User agreement

Effective from 7 November 2026

This agreement is between you and Netrunner (“we”) about the use of Carbon, its AI chat, the store and the related services on this site. You accept it when you create an account, and again before every payment. If you do not agree with it, do not use the service.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 16 years old. Paid services may be bought by adults, or by minors with the consent of their parent or guardian.
• Give a real email address and keep your password and authenticator codes to yourself. You are responsible for what happens in your account; tell us at once if someone else got into it.
• One person — one account. Teams use a team plan.

2. What Carbon is

Carbon passes your requests to AI models — Carbon models or those of providers you connect with your own keys — and shows their answers. Answers are generated automatically, may be wrong, incomplete or outdated, and do not express our opinion. Check important information yourself and do not rely on Carbon alone for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions.

Some Carbon models are free and in general access: they are available on any plan with a daily limit. Their providers offer them on their own terms, may keep requests and use them for training, and may change or withdraw them at any time — do not send confidential information to them. We may change the set of models and their limits.

3. Your content

• What you send and what Carbon creates for you is yours; we claim no rights to it. You give us only the right to store and process it to the extent needed to provide the service to you.
• We do not use your chats to improve the service without your consent, which you can give or withdraw in settings.
• You must have the rights to the files and texts you upload, and you are responsible for how you use the answers, including their publication.

4. Acceptable use

Use Carbon lawfully and as described in the usage policy, which is part of this agreement. It is not allowed to:

• attack the site or try to break into it: flood it with requests (DDoS), look for and exploit vulnerabilities, get into other people’s accounts or data;
• get around limits, payment and protection: the human check, request limits, plan quotas, two-factor protection;
• use bots and scripts to sign up, sign in or collect the site’s content in bulk, except in the ways we expressly allow;
• create accounts in bulk, resell access or share one account between several people.

For a breach we may limit or block the account and the addresses it is used from, without any refund. In serious cases we may pass the information to the authorities.

5. Plans, balance and payment — no refunds

• Paid plans give a monthly token allowance on Carbon models and the features listed on the plans page; tokens beyond it are paid from the balance at the listed rates.
• Prices are shown on the plans page and on the order page before payment; in other currencies they are converted at the day’s rate. The payment methods are those shown on the order page; payments are processed by the payment services, we do not store card details.
• A plan is a one-off payment for one month (or one year). It does not renew by itself and nothing is charged automatically: to keep the plan, pay for the next period — we remind you 3 days before it ends. A renewal adds its time to the current term. If it is not renewed, the plan switches to free; your chats and data stay.
• All payments are final and non-refundable: plans, balance top-ups and store purchases. The money is not returned if you stop using a plan before its end, do not spend the balance or tokens, delete the account, or if the account is blocked for a breach. The balance cannot be withdrawn or transferred to another account. By paying you ask us to start providing the service right away and agree that the payment is not refunded.
• If the money was taken but the plan, the balance or the purchase did not arrive, write to us with the order number — we will credit it.
• Software from the store is a one-time purchase under the licence terms shown with the product.

6. Third-party models and services

When you connect your own AI provider, search engine or connector, its terms and prices apply to that use, you pay it directly, and we are not responsible for how it works.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Carbon available but cannot promise it will run without interruptions, including for reasons beyond our control (outages of providers, networks or hosting, acts of the authorities). We may change features and this agreement. We will tell you about important changes in advance by email or on the site. Continuing to use the service after the changes take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, delete the account.

8. Liability

The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect losses and lost profits, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last three months.

9. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in settings. We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks this agreement, as described in section 4.

10. Disputes and contacts

Please write to us first — we answer claims within 15 days and try to settle any dispute by negotiation. If a provision of this agreement turns out to be invalid, the others stay in force.
