Consent to personal data processing

Effective from 7 November 2026

By ticking the box at sign-up, I freely and having been informed give Netrunner my consent to the processing of my personal data on the terms below and in the privacy policy.

What data

Name, login, email address, the contents of messages, files and voice recordings sent to the service, orders and payments, technical data (IP address, the session cookie, browser and device details).

Purposes

Registering and running the account, providing the Carbon service, taking payments, user support, protecting the site from attacks and bots, sending service emails.

What is done with the data

Collection, organisation, storage, alteration, use, transfer, anonymisation, blocking and deletion, by automated means.

Who receives it, and other countries

The AI providers whose models I choose, Cloudflare, Inc., the payment and email services, as listed in the privacy policy. I agree that my data is processed outside my country, including where the level of data protection may be lower: there I may have fewer rights, and the data may be accessed by that country’s authorities.

Term and withdrawal

The consent is valid until the account is deleted or the consent is withdrawn. I can withdraw it at any time by deleting the account in settings; this does not affect the processing before the withdrawal.

What refusal means

Without this consent an account cannot be created, as the service cannot work without passing data to its providers. Consent to news and offers is separate and optional.
